Welcome to MetalPop!
We are an independent game development studio located in Orlando, FL. When we are not busy playing games, drinking beer or enjoying the Florida sun we are hard at work making games. Not limited to any genre we are developing games for PCs and consoles as well as stuff to play on your phone or tablet. If we think it is fun to play we will try making it.
Our continuing mission: to explore strange new gameplay, to write new code and features, to boldly develop what no one has developed before.
MetalPop has been founded in 2013 by Michelle Martin and Sascha Gundlach. After a combined 20 years in the entertainment industry and a lot of blood, sweat and tears poured into huge AAA projects Michelle and Sascha left their employer, Crytek, to found MetalPop and create smaller more personal games.
Today the MetalPop team consists of a bunch of former Crytek members, game development veterans and freelancers who are not only extremely handsome but also have many years of experience in developing games on PC, console and mobile platforms.
What We Do
MetalPop was founded with the goal to make games that we ourselves would like to play. We do not restrict our game development to any specific genre or platform. If we think it is fun, we will try and build it! Right now we are probably super busy working on our next upcoming title.
In addition to creating games we also offer a wide range of game production and development services. Need a game built? All your code is crashing and the other devs are making fun of you?
